High Stakes

After watching the American election I'd like to share something. Whenever I go into another audition I will think of Kamala Harris as my inspiration and guide. She performed the ultimate audition in front of an entire nation. She shared her story and opened herself up to wide spread criticism in the biggest way. I was in awe of her courage and strength as she accepted the challenge, put together a campaign in such short notice and fought an amazing fight. Even though she lost doesn't mean she wasn't talented, smart enough or qualified for the role she went out for. It just means that the people chose differently. Thank you Ms. Harris for reminding me of this and teaching me that my little auditions pale in comparison.
